On April 16 and May 16, 2019, Yuan Luo, head of the Finance Office at Weiqing Building, auditors Ying Zhang and Nan Li were invited to our department to conduct two financial trainings for faculty and staff.

At the meeting, Yuan Luo introduced the relevant policies and priorities of the recent school financial system. Ying Zhang specifically explained the background and usage process of the “travel service platform”, the use of new modules in the self-service accounting system, and the setup and use of self-service delivery machines. Finally, the Finance Office and the department discussed current problems in the reimburse processes.

With the rapid development of information technology, the finance and reimburse platform of the university is constantly updating, which requires the constant updating of the knowledge and skills of the faculty and staff in using the finance and reimburse platform. The Department of Earth System Science will organize similar financial trainings to coordinate and support the financial work.
