Course Description

Through the teaching and practical training of this course, graduate students will be familiar with the current development trend, latest research methods and ideas of global ecology and global change ecology, as well as the frontier of the discipline, and provide the latest academic thoughts and research methods for the research of related fields. The lecture covers the structure, function, type and management of the earth ecosystem, the cause and prediction of global change, the possible impact of global change on terrestrial and Marine ecosystems, and the response and adaptation countermeasures of typical ecosystems to global change. The program is designed to introduce this scientific frontier and its related technologies to doctoral and master's students in ecology, atmospheric sciences, geographic sciences, and other related disciplines, and to guide students to critique existing research advances and problems.
