Course Description

This course starts with the basic concept and framework of the earth system model, introduces the basic equations of the earth system component model and their numerical solutions, as well as the physical, chemical and biological processes and their parameterization schemes, including the dynamic framework of the atmospheric circulation model, the physical process parameterization and the aerosol process module. Dynamic framework, physical process parameterization and carbonization, biochemical process model, land surface physical process model and dynamic global vegetation model, sea ice dynamics model, thermodynamic model and thickness distribution model in ocean circulation model.
