With regard to common problems of teacher-student relationship, Shen Yutong introduced four aspects from the perspective of teachers, that is, graduate students’ mental status, analysis of graduate students’ communication attitude, supervisors’ coping strategies and students’ psychological service resources. The data analysis method was introduced in the lecture to provide ideas for teachers to solve problems arising from supervisor-student interactions and build good communication ties. In the interactive part, Shen Yutong gave detailed analyses of the teachers' questions and offered some reasonable suggestions. At the end of the lecture, Shen Yutong also recommended music therapy and exercise therapy for psychological healing, and encouraged the participating teachers to learn to relieve stress.

Shen Yutong shares ideas

The interdisciplinary studies in the DESS raise higher requirements for students’ learning ability, research ability and mindset, which also poses more challenges on teachers in handling supervisor-student problems. This lecture can guide teachers to see supervisor-student relationships more scientifically and rationally and promote the harmonious development of the relationships.
