On June 5th, Tsinghua University held 2018 Foreign Affairs Working Conference in the lecture hall of the School of Economics and Management. Principal Qiu Yong attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Vice President Yang Bin hosted the meeting. The conference announced the Advanced Collective of 2017 International Cooperation and Exchange & Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Work of Tsinghua Univeristy. Totally ten deparments and schools, including DESS won the honor.

In 2017, the DESS has made great efforts and contributions in international & Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan exchanges and cooperation work. Remarkable achievements have been made, such as introduce international strategy to attract faculty, carry out frontier scientific research from an international perspective, cultivate scientific and technological talents by aid of international methods, manage daily affairs in an international manner, actively promote international exchanges and cooperation.
