May 19-22 , 2014 , the second national stable isotope ecology symposium cum stable isotope technological seminar was held by CESS in Tsinghua University . This symposium is aim to promote communication between stable isotope ecologists , timely tracking the latest international research frontier , spread the application of stable isotope technology in ecological research in various fields and livelihood areas in China . Shirong Liu , president of Ecology Society of China , academician Kongming Wu , vice president of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Science , Yong Luo , deputy director of CESS , Tsinghua University etc. come give some guidance . More than 160 ecologists all over China participated this symposium and nearly 120 students took part in the technological training .
