2014 spring semester publicity conference was held on April 22 morning in the conference room in Mong Man Wai Building . Vice minister of publicity of the University Shijie Yu and Qin Ouyang were invited to attend this meeting . Wu Haiping , deputy secretary of the Party branch , propagandists in CESS , and information officers of research groups participated this conference . Yong Lou presided this meeting .

First , Yu introduced the institutional settings and the main function of propaganda department in Tsinghua University . Also , he pointed out new characteristics in propaganda work and proposed new requirements for University’ propaganda work . Hoping to enhance communication and interaction between CESS and propaganda department , Ouyang promoted the key aspects from the theoretical view . Then "Publicity management approaches " was declared by Wu , and each participants discussed intensely on it .

Finally , based on the definition and importance of publicity , Luo noted that there was inadequate in the propaganda affairs and proposed some requests to promote the publicity of CESS .
