Dr. Xia Yang, graduated from University of East Anglia, England. She is currently the senior academic Editor ofNature, and served as the senior Academic Editor ofNature Communicationsfrom 2017 to 2020. As the sole social science editor of the two journals, she is responsible for the review of manuscripts related to social economy, environmental policy, health risks, climate change and sustainable development. Ten years of experience in the UK, devoted to interdisciplinary research on natural disasters, health risks, socio-economic impacts, and published several SCI papers with high impact factors.
