Abstract

The advent of the era of big data, especially the accumulation of scientific big data, has brought new approaches to systematic scientific discovery. As a part of scientific big data, ecological big data is expected to accelerate the discovery of big theories and big sciences in ecology. The report will mainly focus on the current situation, trend and challenges of the development of ecological big data, and introduce in detail the acquisition means of ecological big data at home and abroad and the monitoring platform of ecological big data around the world, as well as some key problems that have been solved and haven't been solved by big data in ecology. Finally, some thoughts on future development will be introduced from the aspects of ecological big data itself, deep learning methods and new paradigm of scientific research.
