Cyrus Tang Foundation donated 12 million yuan to support the "Public health monitoring and research network construction in the background of rapid urbanization" project.
The project aims to make up for the lack of state investment in rapid urbanization process and public health research, meeting the urgent needs of the public for dynamic update of environment and epidemic data as well as new scientific discoveries. The development of the project will help promote the country to increase the support of the relevant areas, raising public awareness of environmental health, provide a scientific basis for exploring ways to develop rapid urbanization and health management in China.
