On May 17, the Tsinghua University held the 45th faculty sports meeting on the east playground. A total number of 30 faulty members from the Department of Earth System Science (DESS) participated in the opening ceremony and the track and field competition.
In the competitions, the athletes of the DESS carried forward the sports spirit of the Tsinghua University to the full, and actively participated in several different games, such as long jump, rope skipping, ball games, 100m dash, and long-distance race. Postdoctoral Li Ruizhe, won the 7th place in the 100m dash with a speed of 13'60, adding the honor to the department.
