On the morning of April 11, Prof. Wang Yi from the University of Sussex in the UK led 32 undergraduates from the Department of Geography and Environmental Science to visit the Department of Earth System Science at Tsinghua University. Prof. Luo Yong, the party branch secretary and deputy director of the department, received them.

Jade Scarfe, an undergraduate from Sussex University, introduced her different understandings of China before and after coming to China. Subsequently, Ren Zhehao, a Ph.D. student in the Department of Earth System Science, demonstrated the work and research life of the students in the department and answered questions raised by the students.

During the exchange process, the teachers and students of both sides conducted in-depth discussions on the application and funding of international students at Tsinghua University. Later, Prof. Wang and his entourage visited the isotope laboratory of the Department of Earth System Science and the beautiful Tsinghua campus.
