May 22, vice director of Department of Earth System Science, Tsinghua University, Professor Luo Yong visited the China General Certification Center(CGC), and awarded CGC the "Tsinghua University graduate student practice base" plaque on behalf of the Department of Earth System Science, Tsinghua University.

The Department of Earth System Science attaches great importance to the importance of graduate students in carrying out social practice in personnel training. Since the beginning of 2009 to cultivate graduate students, every year to send graduate students to participate in social practice. In recent years, with the Department of geography graduate students continue to expand the scale of education, geology department is more in line with the Department of the Department of professional characteristics of social practice units.

The Award Ceremony

The China General Certification Center (CGCC) was established in 2003 and was established by the China Certification and Accreditation Administration Committee. It is set up by the China Metrology Science Research Institute and is committed to providing third-party services such as technology development, standard setting, certification, testing, industry and policy research for clean technologies such as solar energy, wind energy and carbon emissions, and is one of the few domestic institutions that has been recognized by the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) and has China Metrology Certification (CMA) qualification at the same time.

After both sides fully communicate, decided to DESS and CGC cooperation in the construction of Tsinghua University graduate social practice base. CGC provides social practice projects for DESS graduate students each year, providing guidance and necessary life support for students. DESS promotes CGC projects to provide technical support for projects and facilitate the transformation of practices.

CGC director Qin Haiyan said, as Tsinghua University graduate social practice base, CGC must strive to do a good job of service for the graduate social practice to provide good service. Through the construction of practice base to further promote academic research and personnel training, and jointly open a new chapter in win-win cooperation.

It is also learned that the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Meteorology and Tsinghua University co-construction of graduate social practice base has also begun to run.
