November 10, 2016, in the second session of "Chinese Science", "Science Bulletin" (hereinafter referred to as "two journals") Council, Professors Gong Peng and Professor Yang Guangwen was elected as "2016 ten outstanding authors". This is the the first time that the "two journals" carry out professional activities, a total of 11 outstanding editor, 10 excellent author and 2 excellent editor were selected, 6 of which is the Academician of CAS. The selected "excellent authors" are scientists who have supported the construction and development of the "two journals" for many years. They have published important papers in the "two journals" in the past five years, and have attracted wide attention after the publication of the papers. Some articles also Selected "hot papers" or "high cited papers" for the "two journals" to enhance the influence of outstanding contributions.

"China Science" magazine is mainly responsible for editing and publishing "Chinese Science" series and "Science Bulletin" in English and Chinese, it include a total of 17 kinds of academic journals and all of the journals is co-sponsored by the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the National Natural Science Foundation of China, in order to witness the development of science in China and promote international academic exchanges.
