At the night of September 23th, the first “Friday Projection Room” event of this semester started in Room S927, Mengminwei Science Building, which was held by CESS Graduate Union Student Life Department. This activity attracted more than 50 students from different department in Tsinghua University, including CESS, Department of Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Water Conservancyand Law school, as well as some students from other universities.

“Friday Projection Room” was held jointly by the Graduate Union of Center for Earth System Science, Department of Electronic Engineering, Department of Chemistry, Department of Water Conservancy and Department of Mechanical Engineering. These five Graduate Union take turns to hold this event, which starts at 7:30 pm each Friday. During the activity, movies will be shown so as to provide a relaxing atmosphere and enrich students’ life.

This “Friday Projection Room” got a warm response from all participants. The room was packed and many students even came half an hour earlier. There were 2 warm-hearted girls helping host to distribute the snacks. However, due to the limit of room size, some students did not manage to enter the room to see the movie, and even some students stood seeing the movie trough whole activity.
