In this talk, Thomas and Antoine will share the following applications of remote sensing in urban areas:a.Vegetation in very high resolution images with CNN: application to satellite and aerial images in Rennes and Paris;b.Characterizing urban morphology change: application to the monitoring of Beijing old city's dynamics from 1966 to 2015;c.Monitoring urban sprawl at national/European scale: application to France based SPOT and LANSDAT mission archives from 1985 to 2015.

主讲人简介

Damien Arvor is researcher at CNRS and received his PhD from University of Rennes in 2009. His current research is focused on the use of remote sensing data to monitor agricultural dynamics in the Brazilian Amazon.
