讲座简介

Sino-Australian Research Centre for Coastal Management (SARCCM) was established in November 2010. SARCCM scientists and students have been active to carry out research activities in four programs including coastal oceanography, remote sensing, marine policy and management, and cyclones and weather. This talk will highlight some of these activities as well as introduce our recent collaborative initiatives including the Double Master Degrees programs, International Collaborative PhD program and the newly proposed Joint PhD program.

主讲人简介

王小华，澳大利亚新南威尔士大学国际学生招生办公室主任（亚太区），澳大利亚新南威尔士大学中澳海岸管理研究中心创始主任。王小华教授毕业于中国海洋大学，拥有澳大利亚詹姆斯库克大学物理海洋学博士学位，他在本科和研究生教学方面拥有超过28年的经验。他现任《河口海岸与陆架科学》以及《湖泊学与海洋学：方法》的副主编。王小华教授的研究涉及海洋环流模拟，泥沙输移动力学以及对沿海管理问题的理解。他有100多项出版物，包括期刊论文，书籍章节，国际会议摘要和政府/技术报告，并得到了各类资助，包括澳大利亚研究理事会，欧盟框架和美国海军研究办公室。
