Introduction to the Lecture:
(1) The theoretical principle of High Accuracy Surface Modeling (HASM) method; (2) Pre-processing conjugate gradient method, adaptive algorithm and parallel algorithm to solve the problem of slow operation speed and large memory requirement of HASM; (3) Quantum algorithm which can achieve exponential acceleration of HASM operation; and (4) Prototype of the HASM classical-quantum hybrid computing platform.
Profile of the Speaker: Yue Tianxiang, a researcher (second class) and doctoral supervisor of the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), Director of Research Office of Ecological Environmental Informatics, Chief Professor of Ecological Environmental Informatics and Distinguished Core Post Researcher of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and winner of National Outstanding Youth Fund. He enjoys special government allowance from the State Council. He is mainly engaged in ecological environment model and system simulation and research on ecological environment informatics. He is also Director of the Professional Committee of Ecological Environment Model of Chinese Society of Environmental Sciences and Director of the Professional Committee of Ecological Model of Chinese Society of Ecology. He has served as the lead author of the United Nations MA assessment report (released globally in 2005), the United Nations IPBES methodological assessment report on scenarios and models (released globally in 2016) and the United Nations IPBES global assessment report (released globally in 2019). He has published more than 10 monographs in Chinese and foreign languages, and more than 300 academic papers in domestic and foreign academic journals, including more than 100 SCI/SSCI-indexed papers.
