Liu Yu, Researcher and Doctoral Supervisor of the Institute of Science and Development, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), Winner of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, Visiting Researcher of the National Development Research Institute of Peking University, Professor of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Vice Chairman of the Social and Economic System Engineering Committee of the Systems Engineering Society of China. His research focuses on the application of the computable general equilibrium model (CGE) to analyze the economic and emission impacts of energy and environmental policies. By far, he has published 160 journal papers, of which 95 are SCI (SSCI)-indexed papers, and many have been published in internationally renowned journals such as Nature Communication, Nature Sustainability, Energy Economics, and Environment Science & Technology. He has presided over 56 research projects, including key research and development projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology, major projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, general projects of the National Natural Science Foundation and emergency projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, among others.
