Introduction to the Lecture:

The “Radiative-Convective Equilibrium Model (RCE model)” put forward by Syukuro Manabe and Richard Wetherald in the 1960s has profoundly influenced the development of climate science and the scientific understanding of global warming. The report will discuss the origin, thought, physical basis and important influence of this model, and discuss the importance of original work and how to carry out related research.
