Abstract

The 24th Session of the Conference of Parties (COP24), hosted by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) secretariat, has just concluded in Katowice, Poland on the evening of December 15. What are the core and hot issues at COP24? What was the final outcome of the negotiations? How will it affect the future negotiation pattern and direction? Presenter Profile

Fu Sha, an associate research fellow, National Center for Climate Change Strategy and International Cooperation, is long engaged in research in the field of energy and climate change, including international negotiations on climate change, the international climate system research, model building and analysis of energy-environment-economy system, the energy and GHG emission reduction technology economic evaluation, national and local levels of energy and low carbon development strategy research, energy and climate policy of economic impact analysis, etc. She is also a member of the Chinese Negotiating Delegation, focusing on the negotiation of global inventory, long-term goals and review. She is the lead author of IPCC Sixth Assessment Report and Fourth National Assessment Report on Climate Change. In recent years, as a core member, she has participated in many national key projects and international cooperation projects in the field of energy and climate change research.
