The new semester started, Drink Hour was held for the first time in the South building of MMW technology building on September 22, 2016. This activity is organized by the academic department of graduate student association of center for earth system science. The invited guest is Dan Tong, who has recently published a paper on theNature Geoscienceon September 6, as the co-first author.

As usual, the organizer prepared abundant snacks and drinks for the students. Dan shared her research experience and introduced the work she has published in theNature Geosciencerecently and the difficulties she met during the process as well as the way she dealt with them. Dan also gave some suggestions on how to plan our academic career.

Drink Hour aims to guide students to establish a positive attitude towards research and create a good academic atmosphere, which plays an important role in serving students.
