9, October , Tsinghua Forum on Climate Change Studies held by CESS was celebrated in Mon manwei Science & Technology Buliding . Dr. Monica Contestabile , senior editor of Nature Climate Change , Dr. Andy Gouldson , professor from University of Bristol , Dr. Dabo Guan visitante professor of Tsinghua University and professor of Leeds University , Pro. Kebin He , president of school of environment of Tsinghua University and Pro. Gong , director of CESS attended this forum and made some scientific reports .

On behalf of CESS , Gong welcomed all the visited scholars , then he make a brief introduction to participators about the development and prospects of CESS in Atmosphere Science , Climate Change , Ecology and Compute Science on Earth Science .

Dr. Andy Gouldson gave a academic report named “ The Economics of Low Carbon Cities ” about the urban carbon dioxide emission . Dr. Monica Contestabile , senior editor of Nature Climate Change magazine gave a report on “How to get published ” to instruct all the attenders how to get published in high quality magazine such as Nature Climate Change . Bing xu , Chaoqing Yu and Yuanluan Lin etc. , scholars from CESS also gave some related reports to share their progress and achievements in their research fields .

Near 30 graduates and scholars took part in this forum . And this forum contributes to exchanging ideas and achievements in Climate Change studies in China .
