The significant research program of global climate change of Science and Technology Ministry cum the mid-term review meeting of “the key process of carbon cycling and climate system coupling ” which is accorded to the arrangements and requirements of Science and Technology Ministry in August 7 , 2014 . Tsinghua University , Northwest A&F University , Beijing Normal University , Tianjin Science and Technology University , Plant Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Science and Cold and Arid Regions Environmental and Engineering Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Science are jointly responsible for this program .

About 60 members took part in this conference , most of who are from Education Ministry which supports this program , Basic Research Center of Science and Technology Ministry , Department of Earth Science of National Natural Science Foundation which management the program and the listed Universities . Meanwhile , Academician Jingyun Fang , Professor Dong who are project responsible experts , Professor P.Gong, Researcher Rucong Yu , Juntian Zhou etc. who are members of project experts group , Academician Jinyun Fang , researcher Yongjian Ding , Professor Bin Wang , Professor Shilong Piao etc. who are peer review experts and key personalities of program term and representatives also participated in this meeting .

Professor Guanghui Lin in CESS , Tsinghua University , chief scientist of the program introduced basic situation of this program on behalf of the program term . Then each project leader reported the main improvement of each project to all the participants . All the participated experts have given suggestion and instructions on project implementation, the next priorities, projects and tasks adjustment program and other issues in project implementation process , highly affirmed the achievements of each subject, agreed to adopt interim summary .

To ensure the next stage’s research carried out smoothly . After this conference , all the members of the program are busy arranging the research of next stage based on the experts’ suggestion immediately .
