On Martch 13th, the result of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching assessment of 2011-2012 was announced. Three course of our center, namely “Introduction to Biogeochemistry” instructed by Li Chuangshseng, “Atmospheric Chemistry” instructed by Wang Yuxuan and “Introduction to Biogeochemistry and its Application” instructed by Yu Chaoqin, are listed in top 5% among theoretical courses under 30 attendances with scores of 97.5, 97.5 and 97.34 respectively. With a score of 96.61, “Planetary Atmospheres” by Tian Feng, the first course for undergraduates in our center, is listed in top 15% among the same scale undergraduate’s courses.

In the fall semester of 2011-2012, CESS offers 7 courses for postgraduates and 1 course for undergraduates. The average score of postgraduate theoretical courses is 96.85, ranking the fourth place in this assessment. The score of undergraduate course is 96.61, ranking the first. With a 100% participating rate, CESS becomes the only institute whose postgraduates are all involved in this assessment.
