Introduction to the Lecture
This lecture will provide an overview of Nature Climate Change and the Nature series of journals, as well as the pivotal role of editors in the publication process. The presentation will cover the primary responsibilities of editors, key considerations during manuscript handling, how editorial decisions are made, and practical tips and strategies for writing papers and submitting manuscripts to the Natureseries of journals.
Profile of the Speaker
Cheng Danyang holds a Ph.D. from Tsinghua University. During her doctoral studies, she focused on interdisciplinary research exploring sustainable development pathways in the context of climate change. Her work has been published in prestigious journals such as Nature Communications and Global Environmental Change. In July 2023, she joined Nature-Climate Change as an editor, where she oversees the review process for manuscripts related to climate adaptation, climate change perception, and behavioral studies.
