At noon on April 15, the Department of Earth System Science (DESS)held a lunch salon serial activity in S927, MENG Minwei Technology Building. LIU Han, a doctoral student ofDESSwas invited to this event as the speaker to present about“Global Daily Seamless Data Cubes and intelligent mapping iMap World 1.0”.

Focusing on how to make satellite data more convenient to use, LIU Han introduced the research progress in terms of the construction ofGlobal Daily Seamless Data Cubes, intelligent mapping (iMap World 1.0), remote sensing cloud services and platform development. Afterwards, the teachers had in-depth exchanges on issues such as the optimal virtual constellation structuring and verification of the accuracy of SDC data.
