At noon on September 29th, the College of Science held the first faculty meeting of the new semester in the Department of Earth System Science. President Gong Peng, Vice President Zou Wenming, Vice President Wang Yanyu, Vice President Wang Xun attended the meeting.

The meeting focused on the "double E" science construction plan "overall improvement of quality, conservation of academic ecology" to discuss the focus of this semester. After discussion, the meeting reached a consensus that the each department of the College of Science should be in-depth cross-cooperation, and this semester can try to organize "the beauty of science" high-level forum to promote the old building renovation. The meeting also discussed the hold of doctoral forum, youth teacher forum and so on.

Related people from Department of Physics, Department of Earth System Science, the Statistical center, the Astronomy center and School planning office attended the meeting.
