讲座简介
This talk will provide an overview of NOAA's Climate Program Office efforts to advance Earth system modeling and prediction capabilities. Main relevant program thrusts to involve the scientific community in NOAA's modeling and prediction efforts will be described. These include foundational research that contribute to community-broad activities as well as application-oriented work to improve NOAA's services. The need for observations to improve modeling and prediction capabilities will also be addressed.
